Red Crown now offers Money Trends inside of online banking. This service allows you to track your spending habits, set goals and understand your holistic financial life.

PayPrompt

Red Crown now offers PayPrompt, a text messaging service that sends you reminders when your auto loan payment is due.

How does it work?

Ten days before your next auto loan payment, you will receive your first OPT-IN text from 32576. Type YES to OPT-IN, type STOP to OPT-OUT.

Each month you will receive reminders, ten days before, three days before, and three days after your loan is due.

Type REDCROWNCU to 32576 to OPT-IN anytime.

CardHub

Red Crown now offers CardHub inside the Red Crown mobile app, which gives you more control over your debit card.

*IMPORTANT* – If you currently have the CardValet App, please delete it, you will no longer need to use it.

If the app freezes after the new update, Force Close the app to clear the error.

  • This service will work once you receive your new Red Crown debit card!
  • Turn your debit card on and off
  • Establish transaction controls for dollar amount limits, merchant categories, and geographic locations
  • Receive alerts when your debit card is used, approved, or exceeds the transaction controls set by you
  • Stay informed of potential fraud with alerts on attempted and declined transactions

Creating a CardValet Profile

Please follow the steps below to have access to CardValet:

  • Download the app on your mobile device: Apple App Store | Google Play Store
  • Once you have downloaded the app, create an account by adding the requested information
  • This information is tied to the primary account holder – so joint account holders will need to enter the primary’s personal information

Red Crown now offers Zelle, which allows you to connect with family or friends to send or receive money.

  • Click the “+” to add a new card
  • Scan your card or manually enter the information
  • Agree to the Terms and Conditions
  • You may be asked to verify your card. If so, please click on the link to verify.
    (This verification may require you to call Red Crown. You will need to call during call center hours to activate your card.)

Once this is complete, your card(s) will be ready to use where Apple Pay is accepted.

Once completed, your card(s) will be ready to use where Samsung Pay is accepted.

Samsung Pay uses NFC and a technology called magnetic secure transmission (MST). When you hold the phone against any terminal, it emits a signal that simulates the magnetic strip on a card. This means it works with pretty much all terminals, without the merchant having to update their point-of-sale systems. The one situation where MST won’t work is when you need to insert a card into a slot, like at a gas station.
