Available Positions

Key Responsibilities

Benefits Administration
– Oversee enrollment, reconciliations, and ongoing management of employee benefits programs.
– Administer and manage a $500,000+ self-funded health plan.
– Maintain healthy vendor relationships to optimize employee benefits offerings.

Talent Management
– Lead full-cycle recruitment including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date job descriptions.
– Directs selection and recruitment of employees; provides direction to the hiring manager about
the interview process; ensures that proper interviewing practices are utilized in the hiring
process; develops relationships with external employment sources; conducts employment
verifications, reference checks, drug screens and obtains criminal background checks.

Employee Engagement & Relations
– Serve as a primary contact for employee relations matters, promoting a positive and inclusive
work environment.
– Embody the Credit Union’s Standards of Excellence.
– Assist in cultivating employee engagement, increased productivity and retention, and
team/individual development.

Compliance & Administration
– Manage FMLA, Cobra administration, leave administration, unemployment claims, and workers’
compensation.
– Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
– Maintain accurate and complete employee personnel files and HR documentation.
– Update and maintain company policies and the employee handbook.

Reporting & Analytics
– Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual HR and benefits reports.
– Provide insights and data analysis to support decision-making and compliance.

Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or
5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist or HR leadership role.
– Strong knowledge of employment law, benefits administration, and HR compliance.
– Proven experience managing self-funded benefit plans.
– Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
– Ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
– Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
